The Rocky Hock Playhouse produces and puts on about four to five new Christian musicals each year. It was founded by Jeff and Gloria Emmerich who wrote, directed and produced all the playhouse's shows, casting actors from the local community as well as enlisting the talents of those from across the country. The playhouse is now owned and operated by Darryl Stallings, friend of the Emmerichs. Today it produces regular gospel concerts and fosters an atmosphere that’s inclusive to the whole family with their themes that reflect Christian ideology and values.
