The Chowan Arts Council is a member-supported, non-profit organization whose mission is to sponsor, encourage, and create opportunities for the participation in — and appreciation of — the visual, literary, and performing arts in Chowan County. Your Community Arts Center provides a forum for display and performance of art, encourages local artistic expression, and fosters community participation through the arts.
Here, you will find beautiful wall art for sale as well as functional art in the form of pottery, jewelry, wooden boxes, furniture and many other unique things. We also feature locally knitted items such as scarves and children’s sweaters.
