Relay for Life Luminaria Service

Event Description:
This years Luminaria will be held at Aces Stadium on the high school campus and is being hosted by the Chowan-Perquimans Relay for Life. Participants purchase lantern bags, dedicated to a lost loved one, someone currently battling cancer, or anyone who have overcome cancer. These bags are lit up at dusk and make for a beautiful display of unity, strength, and support. The event is free but the bags cost money and can be purchased on the field from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on the day of the event. Donations go towards funding the American Cancer Society's mission to save lives.
White Bags: $10 for one, $25 for three
Gold Bags: $25
Torches: $100
In the event of rain, this event will be rescheduled for October 22.
