Event Description: 

Penny university comes to Edenton.  Coffeehouses in 17th-18th century Britain were often known as "penny universities" for the fact you could order a coffee for a pence and attend public lectures on science, philosophy, and politics.  These are free to attend and there will be coffee and hot cocoa provided.
