Event Description:
This intensive, mixed-media workshop, geared toward intermediate to advance students, explores the process of transitioning between the drawing and painting. Students will bring in a few works that are already in progress, and over the course of the two-day workshop, they'll focus on drawing techniques that use water-based paint as well as multiple layering processes and prepping paper with oil paints.
Students learn from instructor Scott Eagle, an associate professor of painting and drawing at East Carolina University's School of Art and Design.
