White Oak Elementary School hosts its annual Arts & Crafts Holiday Gift Show the Saturday before Thanksgiving. More than 50 vendors show and sell their wares, providing the perfect opportunity for holiday gift shopping. The day also brings Oak Fest, with all sorts of activities for kids, including hay rides, train rides, games, door prizes, pictures with Santa, pony rides and much more. There's also a silent auction for the adults. Admission is inexpensive, around $2, and some activities cost extra. All proceeds from the event are used in the classrooms at White Oak Elementary School. The school is located at 111 Sandy Ridge Road in Edenton.
