Pembroke Creek Park

Want a breath of fresh air? Take a stroll in Edenton’s newly updated Pembroke Creek Park, just beyond historic downtown Edenton next to Bayside Marina and Grill. A new boardwalk, benches and picnic tables make it a scenic spot for a picnic lunch. For those who want to get even closer to the water, the floating dock and two 50-foot piers are excellent spots for launching a kayak, canoe or standup paddleboard or casting a fishing line for bass. Paddlers can embark on the 4-mile trail that offers smaller paths of water to explore between the cypress and gum-lined waters, and the most adventurous might even elect to make it an overnight trip by camping out at one of the camping platforms on nearby John’s Island.
