Edenton Pilgrimage of Historic Homes
Come for our history, stay for our hospitality. Edenton's 2023 Pilgrimage is an enchanting self-guided tour through the heart of Historic Edenton and surrounding country side, highlighting prime examples of beautiful homes with architecture spanning across two centuries.
Private homes are open to view, dating from the 1700’s to the early 1900’s. Guests are greeted by members of the Woman’s Club in colonial attire and docents share the history, architecture, and stories of each unique property.

“Following the uncertainties caused by the pandemic in recent years, we are thrilled to have the opportunity to announce the 2023 Pilgrimage dates and incredible line-up of homes and sites for our attendee’s enjoyment” stated Pilgrimage Chair Carlette Pruden.
Since its founding in 1947, the Edenton Woman’s Club has supported restoration, preservation, and education efforts in Edenton. This biennial event brings together tours of private homes and manors, special events, guest speakers and horse drawn carriage rides for an unforgettable weekend of history, heritage, and southern hospitality.
