Event Description:
Discover the history of the First Gulf War, specifically as it pertained to North Carolina, in downtown Edenton. Historic Edenton State Historic Site welcomes this traveling exhibit, which will be displayed in the visitor's center for the month of November. Eight panels will feature various details of the conflict in Kuwait that resulted in the Persian Gulf War, Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm. The exhibit also recognizes numerous units from North Carolina that held notable roles in the Persian Gulf War.
