Event Description:
The Christmas Candlelight Tour is one of Edenton's most popular attractions. It draws visitors from states away in addition to residents who participate year after year. Each year, for the past 41 years, the tour selects a section of downtown Edenton to showcase the historic homes in their holiday splendor. Tour goers are invited inside the tour's different stops to marvel at the homes' embellishments of all-natural decorations that capture early Edenton Christmases, reminiscent of the 18th and 19th Centuries. For a truly authentic experience, take a horse-drawn carriage ride through the town and admire the twinkling lights.
