250th Anniversary of the Edenton Tea Party
Event Description:
Celebrate the 250th anniversary of the Edenton Tea Party with the Edenton Historical Commission and special guests. The Edenton Historical Commission will welcome Betsy Cahill to lecture on the topics of preservation, growth and tourism. A reception will follow at 7:30 p.m.
Raise your tea cup to Chowan County's heritage as the Edenton Historical Commission presents a box lunch program that looks at Penelope Barker and the original Edenton Tea Party.
