Event Description:
Join us for a Constitution Day program at the Historic 1767 Chowan County Courthouse presented by the Edenton Tea Party DAR! Before the program, participate in a wreath laying downtown at the Hugh Williamson Monument (10:30 a.m.).
Constitution Week is a commemoration of America's most important document. It's celebrated annually during the third week of September.
The United States Constitution stands as a testament to the tenacity of Americans throughout history to maintain their liberties, freedoms and inalienable rights.
