Event Description:
Commemorate the Edenton Tea Party at the 51 House! In 1774, Penelope Barker spearheaded the signing of a pledge by 51 women to boycott British goods. It came to be recognized as the first organized political act by women. Enjoy entertainment, cocktails and light fare in honor of the occasion.
